Anterior knee pain-

Anterior knee pain means pain front of the knee. There are many causes for anterior knee pain such 

as patello-femoral pain ( Knee cap pain) , tendinitis, Fat pad syndrome , Osteoarthrits.

Symptoms 

Pain , stiffness , making click noise and aggravating factots are - Runnung , Jogging, stairs up , down , walking and cross sitting.

Self management advised -

Initally you can use pain killer over the counter drugs and gentle knee exercise. 

You must see GP or need to attend  urgent care at hospital  if there any signs of following symtoms-

- Knee swelling.

-Warm feel on palpation

-Feel fever , shivery.

-If there any trauma and if you are unable to weight bear.

-Unwell feeling,

-Redness of calf muscle( Back of the leg) and tenderness  present.
